Stranded Nigerians Returns Home from Thailand and Malaysia

No less than 247 Nigerians stranded in Thailand and Malaysia due to the coronavirus pandemic has returned.


A portion of the evacuees landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja on Saturday night while the others continued to the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.


According to reports, the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission said the number of the flight, APK-7813, was worked by an indigenous airline, Air Peace.



NIDCOM ensured that all the returnees were tested negative for coronavirus before the takeoff of the flight, including that every one of them would watch 14-day self-detachment and take another Covid-19 test.


It expressed that the individuals who test negative after the subsequent test could openly join the general public while the individuals who test positive would be moved to COVID isolation center for treatment.
