Oniru Suspends Officials Caught Fighting with Late Oniru's Son

Oba Omogbolahan Lawal, The Oniru of Iruland says he has suspended the palace official who was captured on camera battling with Tijani Oniru, one of the children of the immediate past Oniru.

He said in an announcement by his media office that reports have it that it was Tijani's men that initially assaulted his royal residence authorities before they fought back. "On Sunday, July 5, 2020, a somewhat deplorable episode happened inside the Oniru Estate Neighborhood (near Millennium Estate gateway) which finished in a quarrel between certain authorities of Oniru's castle and the Prince Tijani Oniru's group

It was asserted that Prince Tijani Oniru slapped the head of the palace authorities who was likewise affirmed to have fought back. Luckily, the police immediately mediated to forestall further acceleration."

Oba Lawal said he had requested an examination concerning the incidence and the conduct of the royal residence authorities, saying he would not endure or approve any demonstrations of brutality, rebellion and plan of action to self improvement.

The kabiyesi has instructed the Palace administrator to immediately suspend the officials involved in the incident till proper investigations are carried out. His highness urges all involved parties to cease from all types of viciousness and maintain harmony, peace."

It was later discovered that what caused the fight was over the control of certain properties in highbrow Oniru, Eti Osa neighborhood government zone of Lagos State.
