Obaseki Will Face Defeat on September 19

All Progressives Congress (APC) EDO State chapter has said Governor Godwin Obaseki of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will face defeat in September 19.

The gathering, through its Publicity Secretary, Chris Azebamwan, said yesterday that its governorship up-and-comer, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, would rise triumphant at the surveys.

It denounced the untruths and purposeful publicity of Edo PDP, through its representative, Chris Nehikhare, who affirmed that the National Campaign Council of the APC drew nearer NEXIM Bank for $500million advance, supposedly to support the governorship campaign.

APC stated: "We have ignored the senseless, silly and careless claims of the PDP, if the issues included are not all that profound. Any individual acquainted with the fundamentals of money related exchanges by banks realizes that no bank worth its working permit will give an office of that extent, without documentation and a long paper trail.

"We challenge Nehikhare and his paymasters to distribute proof in their ownership to prove their case or shut up. "
