Senator Hadi Sirika, the Minister of Aviation on Saturday in Kano State, said that domestic flights would resume duty across the country over air terminals on July 15, noticing that those that are not prepared will be provided enough time all together not to endanger individuals' lives.
Sirika unveiled this while leading a group from the aviation industry and the Presidential Task Force on Covid-19 from the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja to Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport Kano on a reenactment practice with MaxAir, VM1644.
He said the reason for the activity was to see that the air terminal was opened as per the conventions built up by the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 and to evaluate whether the air terminal was protected to work
As indicated by him, "I am happy and I think the common flight authority with Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria have done incredibly very well under our supervision to guarantee that all that we set up on physical removing, great cleanliness is being built up and is being followed.
"Along these lines, we accept this air terminal is one of those air terminals that is protected to work in and out during this COVID-19. I am content with what I saw and it is adequate for us to go."

On the guest plan, he stated: "sitting in a plane, in light of the idea of the plane, the plane is sterile enough once you have your cover, you are sheltered to stay situated on your seat and where conceivable, we will keep the separation.
"In any case, let me clarify the component in a plane that makes it safe in COVID-19 period.
"Planes are structured so that the encompassing air at heights is perfect. It isn't tainted. The air dropped in the airplane, pressurized and due to pressurization, the temperature of the air goes up to 200 degrees which is twice bubbling water point and there is no microorganisms or infection that can endure it and it is out of nowhere cooled to around two degree centigrade and afterward it is passed to a channel, a high productivity channel, and going through the filtration framework guarantees that each and every living being is screened and afterward it is passed to the lodge and once it is gone through the lodge, it originates from the roof downwards.
"In this way, it isn't originating from the cockpit to the back, it is from the roof downwards and it drops on the floor and gets circled. This course happens at regular intervals. Along these lines, on a departure from Abuja to Lagos, the course will happen like 27 to multiple times. With this, it is guaranteed that it is more sterile to be in a plane than to be in a working auditorium in the clinic.
"With this system set up, everything will be protected given that we are purifying the plane before we enter and sterilizing after we leave and furthermore clean all the potential surfaces that one will contact. In the event that this proceeds, at that point everybody is sheltered to stay in the lodge situated close to one another with the cover on. So with this, yes you can however in the takeoff and appearance lobbies and wherever including the transports, you should remain truly far off, as in any event six feet or two meters."
The priest further uncovered that the Maiduguri air terminal was prepared including that air toll are ordinary.
"There is practically zero increment since nothing changed inside the lodge."
On his part, the National Coordinator, PTF on Covid-19, Dani Aliu, stated, "extra suggestions to the flying experts as far as operationalizing this air terminal specifically to abstain from having crowds and to ensure that the aircrafts withdraw speedily will be finished."
